The project comprised a written dissertation that focused on the use of mobile sonic technologies as a strategy for urban regeneration. It examined how listeners use mobile sonic devices such as mp3 players to shape their experience of the urban environment. Drawing on this theoretical research is a practical piece of work; a site specific audio art work. This is an interactive Soundwalk which uses GPS co-ordinates received from a handheld device to trigger live mixing and playback of electroacoustic composition at different points in a specific site.
