Graduate work
The child with the mirror is an interactive installation which portrays the dream experience. The piece is an interactive journey in physical space for one visitor at a time.
Following contemporary multimedia art practices, the installation presents visual elements, which are projected on multiple flat screens and custom-made objects, multi-channel audio and provides ways for the participant to interact and affect the piece.

Bio
Roberto Pugliese holds a Master in Electronic Engineering. After working three years as a process engineer and program manager in Rome, he started an M. Phil in Music and Media Technologies in Trinity College Dublin. In the last two years, his work included sound and mixed media compositions, audio/visual performance and gesturally controlled interface design.
Research Interests
His research interests include interactive story-telling, audience participation-based installation and performance. Computer music research and human machine interface design are his area of expertise to support those concepts.
